Elegant Italian caffe culture
in a stylish space designed by Giorgio Armani.
Emporio Armani's flagship store in Japan moved to its new location at the Oak Omotesando complex in Aoyama back in 2013.
The first floor of the new flagship location is home to the unique Emporio Armani Caffe Aoyama. Facing the arcade, it is a popular place to enjoy a taste of Italy's elegant caffe culture.
Grey tables and black countertops decorate the interior, and red Armani Casa lamps shine bewitchingly throughout the caffe.
Naturally, the coffee is certifiably excellent. Two baristas serve more than 25 different drinks, from genuine espresso to coffee cocktails made with liqueur.
The desserts are as incredible as the coffee, and the caffe is very popular among those with a sweet tooth.
One of the most popular treats is the Armani Tiramisu. Its texture is less like cake and more like an angelic, airy cream, enveloping the amaretto jelly within and releasing its mellow aroma.
Ordered a piece with a cup of coffee or tea for only ¥1,400 between 2PM and 5PM.
Lunch is a more casual affair with appetizers and sandwiches, but they all evoke the charm of Italian cuisine, and as can be expected, everything goes better with a glass of wine.
That's why the caffe is also great for wine-lovers. Drop by for Italian Wine Happy Hour where you can enjoy a light appertivo before heading out for dinner - just like they do in Milan.
Diners can enjoy a never-ending flow of three select Italian wines for 90 minutes under this plan. It is available at any time during operating hours, and comes with tapas for the very reasonable price of ¥2,950.
Customers can get a good feel for the uniqueness of Italian wine. The three wines are selected with a "north-south" theme and are changed out every two months.
